Overview
For more than 25 years, Writers Theatre has captivated Chicagoland audiences with inventive interpretations of classic work and a dedication to creating the most intimate theatrical experience possible. For their Spring 2019 production of August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, we sought to target audiophiles at local jazz clubs with a custom series of drink coasters. Each featuring a portrait and respective quote of a prominent character, these characters helped draw new, engaged audiences to this classic American story.
